Our tamper evident bands are made from a variety of film materials and come in reel-fed, pre-cut and pre-formed formats to suit your production process.
Tamper evident bands are applied to your product to prevent contamination and provide visible evidence to the consumer that your product is intact and free from tampering. Having visible tamper evidence ensures your brands integrity and is often a requirement from retailers.
If you’re looking for a decorative and functional solution our bands can be printed to match your branding allowing them to be dual purpose.
Also known as shrink sleeves or shrink bands they are a robust option and less likely to scuff, rip or tear compared to a paper alternative.

Our Materials
PET (Polyethylene terephthalate)
Our PET comes in 50 & 70 micron, is widely recycled and is the most popular heat shrink material for our products. It is suitable to most printing processes meaning you can customise it to suit your brand.
rPET
A recycled content version of PET that has all the same attributes but with the bonus of 30% post-consumer recycled content. The latest innovation to offset plastic waste, it is the preferred option on product listings with many retailers. Please note currently only available in 50 micron.
PLA (Polylactic acid)
A Bio-plastic material made from corn starch derived from renewable resources, PLA is a great choice if you are looking to avoid traditional petroleum-based plastics altogether but still want a heat shrink band to suit your processes. Our PLA comes in 50 micron and performs to the same high standard as PET as well as being compostable. Please note PLA is currently only available in a clear, unprinted finish.
PVC (Polyvinyl chloride)
Our PVC comes in 50 micron and is suitable to most printing processes meaning you can customise it to suit your brand. Due to it being non-recyclable we are actively assisting our customers to make the switch to PET or rPET wherever possible.

Product Options
Cut and pre-formed bands
Also known as shrink sleeves or heat shrink bands, film bands are fitted over your product for safety & security as visible evidence to the consumer that it is a genuine product free from tampering. This is our most popular form of tamper evidence and the industry standard.
Tubing
Film tubing is the perfect choice for high volume producers. Ideally suited to machinery that feeds tamper evident bands in their uncut tube form. Tubing is supplied plain or printed on 500m reels. These large shrink bands can often be found on detergents or beauty products and are an excellent way to display multi buy or promotional items.

PVC (Polyvinyl chloride) – This is the most commonly used plastic film and is the most economical option. PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) – A more eco-friendly version of PVC, this material is widely recycled and is replacing PVC as the most popular material for our products. PLA stands for Polylactic acid and is a premium material derived from renewable resources and classed as a compostable. Although not suitable for home composting it is compatible with industrial composting processes. |

Prices INCLUDE delivery to UK mainland addresses in England, Scotland and Wales (exclusions apply). All standard deliveries are Monday to Friday (8am-6pm exclusions apply).
Some postcodes attract a delivery surcharge and have extended delivery times:
- Any address that is UK territory but not UK mainland- if you wish us to deliver to one of these postcodes, we will contact you to arrange surcharge payment.
Please note there is no deliveries on bank holidays.
Viscose does everything possible to ensure the safe delivery of your goods. We use carriers to deliver our products and therefore cannot guarantee special instructions, and we are at their discretion. UK mainland:
- Orders placed before 12pm on weekdays will be dispatched same day- weekday delivery 1-2 days from date of dispatch.
- Ordered placed after 12pm on weekdays will be dispatched on the next working day- weekday delivery 1-2 days from date of dispatch.
- Orders placed on weekends will be dispatched on the next working day – weekday delivery 1-2 days from date of dispatch.
- Orders being delivered to UK territories that isn’t mainland- extended delivery times may apply.
