The Swansea Bay Business Awards 2026
We’re delighted to announce that in January we were named Manufacturing Business of the Year at The Swansea Bay Business Awards 2026, a prestigious recognition celebrating excellence and innovation in the regional manufacturing sector.
The awards were presented during a vibrant and well-attended ceremony at Swansea’s Brangwyn Hall. The evening brought together leading organisations from across the Swansea Bay region to celebrate their achievements and recognise excellence across a variety of industries.
This award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our people. Every member of the Viscose team plays a vital role in delivering for our customers and pushing our standards higher every day.
Their commitment and teamwork are what make achievements like this possible. Through our focus on manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration, we can consistently deliver real value to our customers. Being recognised for these efforts at a regional level reinforces both the progress we have made and the direction we are heading.
Winning Manufacturing Business of the Year is a proud moment in our journey, but it is also motivation to keep pushing forward. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and remain committed to supporting our customers, and championing Welsh manufacturing on a wider stage.

Bingo & pizza
After winning the Manufacturing Business of the Year at The Swansea Bay Business Awards 2026 in January, our team took some time to celebrate winning with a pizza and bingo lunch.
It was a great chance to pause, take a moment to celebrate as a team, and recognise the effort that goes in across the business every day. This award reflects the consistency, teamwork and pride our people bring to their work.

Work anniversaries – Keith Lewis & Julian Waygood
Our wonderful and dedicated staff are key to keeping our business going. We’ve had some significant work anniversaries over the last few months, and we felt these incredible achievements needed to be highlighted.
On the 2nd of January, we celebrated 25 years of service from our Film Team Leader, Keith Lewis. An incredible achievement — thank you, Keith, for everything you bring to Viscose.

On the 4th of January, we celebrated Julian Waygood, our Cellulose APA, reaching 5 years with Viscose. Thank you, Julian, for your dedication and contribution over the past five years.
